Cookies and similar technologies (draft for operator review)
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by Maple Studio Journal, based on the current configuration of the site.
Necessary technology: the site uses a PHP session cookie. It protects the enquiry form against forged submissions and limits repeated submissions. It is needed for the form to work safely and is not used for advertising.
Your consent choice: your browser's localStorage stores a key named site-consent-v1 with the value yes or no. It records whether you accepted optional cookies. A cookie-settings button in the site footer reopens the choices, so you can accept or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and lets you choose again.
Optional analytics and advertising: no optional analytics or advertising tags are currently configured. Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Meta Pixel are not set up on the site. Accepting or declining optional cookies therefore does not currently change which third-party tools run.
If tags are added later: the site is built so that any optional tag that is configured loads only after you accept, never before. If the operator adds such a tag, this page must be updated to name it, explain its purpose and describe the data it may collect.
Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking the necessary session cookie may stop the enquiry form from working.
